Ahead of the 163rd Hospices de Beaune Wine Auction, Maison Albert Bichot is offering a unique experience: reliving the history of the Hospices and its own through the centuries in music with a duo composed of a connected speaker in Soundivine magnum format and a bottle of Beaune 1er Cru cuvée Dames Hospitalières 2020. This unique association is limited to 23 examples in a nod to the current vintage and at the auction on November 19, 2023.

Presented as a pretty magnum-sized wooden case, the Soundivine speaker plays with the codes and materials specific to the world of wine. A kind of magic – Queen
This essential Queen song was chosen by Ludivine Griveau herself to reflect the conditions and quality of the 2023 vintage. Despite difficulties, the result is “magical” and the Hospices de Beaune wines which will be sold on November 19, 2023 at auction should once again delight the most demanding enthusiasts.
1876 – First purchase from Maison Albert Bichot at the Hospices de Beaune
Camille Saint-Saëns: Bacchanale, extract from the opera Samson et Dalila
French pianist, organist and composer, true prodigy, Camille Saint-Saëns, wrote twelve operas, including the better known is Samson and Delilah.
1443 – Foundation of the Hôtel-Dieu by Nicolas Rolin and Guigone de Salins
Gilles Binchois: Amours mercy
This song is representative of the aesthetic popular at the Burgundian court. Gilles de Binche –
known as Binchois – was one of the main figures at court, enjoying immense success. Of course
its title Amours echoes the relationship between Nicolas Rolin and Guigone de Salins and their
dedication to caring for others
