Baglietto launches the new Baglietto 48m T-Line
La Spezia, Italy, August 1, 2018 – Baglietto launched the 48m hull #10228 in steel and aluminum, weighing in under 500grt.
This 48m sister ship of MY Andiamo includes many upgraded spaces. Francesco Paszkowski Design designed the sleek exteriors. The Baglietto Interior Design, combining modernity and luxury, planned the layout of the interiors.
“I am convinced that this vessel perfectly represents the Baglietto philosophy,” says Michele Gavino, Baglietto CEO. “This is a yacht that continues our tradition, yet takes advantage of new and innovative solutions which make her unique: the big windows, for instance, foster a perfect harmony between indoor and outdoor areas, with the sundeck as a Baglietto trademark. And the new beach club perfectly responds to the customer’s desire for direct access to the sea. The interiors, dreamed up by our in-house Interior Design team, are a point of pride for me. In all, I think the results are of great satisfaction.”
The vessel boasts over 350sqm (3767 sqft) of luxurious spaces, with room for many new features. The exterior spaces are vast, with the sundeck alone sprawling across 140sqm (1506 sqft) of al fresco space, including dining space, a sunbathing area, and an infinity pool. The upper deck includes a second al fresco dining area as well.
The elegant contemporary interiors, designed by the Baglietto Interior Design, include four guest cabins on the lower deck in addition to the master suite on the main deck. The clear colors of the Italian national walnut, perfectly combined with touches of gold and bronze, create a sophisticated and warm atmosphere, lightened by the Canaletto nut pattern used for the floors in the living areas. Light-shaded carpet and cream-colored leather with irregular cuts of inlayed wood on the walls have been chosen for the accommodation areas. Floor to ceiling windows provide excellent natural light and views on the main deck and the skylounge.
The galley – expressly designed for fine dining – includes a central aisle with direct access to the walk-in cold rooms. Inspired by transatlantic cruises, special attention has been given to the storage areas, including a luggage room.
The placement of the tender and toys in the foredeck allows more space to be dedicated to the Beach Club, which offers 47sqm of space to relax with a steam shower, bar and an additional area perfect for a gym, massage or spa/relaxation space. The Beach Club faces the sea, ideal for those tranquil moments on the water.
The 48m #10228 is powered by 2 Caterpillar engines 3512 C DITA-SCAC, which allow the ship to reach a comfortable top speed of 16kn and cruising speed of 12kn. The yacht is in the highest class of the Lloyds Register of Shipping.
The new Baglietto 48m is available for sale, and she will premiere worldwide at the next Cannes Yachting Festival and Monaco Boat Show in September 2018. The vessel will be also on display at the Genoa Boat Show.
