The Munichtime Celebrates Its 10th Anniversary

Since ten years, the Munichtime informs enthusiasts of high quality mecanical wrist watches about the most up-to-date models. For many of the watch aficionados, Germany’s most favored watch exhibition represents the absolute highlight of their watch year. For the jubilee, the public show will again present a number of sensational international novelties as well as many exhibits of German watch making art.

This year as in the years before, a great number of exhibitors ensure an experience of high degree for the visitors, as the Munichtime constitutes the ideal stage for fine mecanical watches of internationally excellent reputation. Munichtime’s spirit consists in the chance to come into close contact with a number of recent watch models which had first been presented at the Geneva Watch Fair and the Baselworld.

Every year, new and interesting manufacturors join the number of exhibitors who all have much to offer in the field of fine watch making. It is therefore hardly astonishing that the popularity and the interest of the visitors for the Munichtime and the watch novelties presented there remain great. At the end of October 2017, more than sixty watch labels will again show their most attractive mecanical pieces of art as well as the latest trends for the wrist in the glamorous frame of the hotel Bayerischer Hof, Munich.

The broad spectrum of exhibitors ranges from the great international luxury labels to little known but just as highly qualified makers. As every year up to now, the German watch industry will be present on a wide scale.

And as before, the exhibition stands at the focal point of the watch making industry, as professional circles consider the Munichtime to be a strong stimulus for the high quality watch trade.

Moreover, the „Bayerische Meisterschule für das Uhrmacherhandwerk“ (Bavarian Master School for the Watch Making Craft) based in Würzburg presents itself as an important center for the next generation of watch makers. Eventually, the young craftsmen will ensure the continuance of a centuries old craft.
